In Minnesota, there is a quaint town on the northern shores of Lake Minnetonka called Wayzata (Why-zeh-ta). It is here Steve lives and manages his top performing real estate team. He hails from the neighboring community, Orono, MN, where he remains actively involved in the community and school district with his sponsorships and philanthropic outreach.
Early in his “career” at 5 years old, Steve constructed a home using his Lego building blocks, prepared a written contract and sold it to his mom for $2,000. After graduating from college, Steve developed and sharpened his skills in the corporate world with Carlson Companies and Merck Pharmaceuticals. After 10 years, life presented the opportunity to help families buy and sell homes. So, in 2005 Steve moved back to Minnesota and acquired his Real Estate License. Shortly after, the real estate market crashed!
Although some would categorize this crash as apocalyptic, and rightly so, having shifted from real estate investor to real estate advisor - experiencing the ups and downs of the market was nothing new. Steve did not miss a beat! As agents chose to leave the industry by the thousands, Steve kept rising and grinding (R-E-S-P-E-C-T to Daymond Jon). He followed up on every lead, exceptionally serving the few clients he had. With a confident sense of urgency, Steve set out to build his business on the core values he’s followed through his own life’s journey.
Today, Steve is recognized as one of the top-producing agents in Minnesota. Always striving to provide concierge client care, Steve and his team are most well-known by their clients and peers for being skilled negotiators, mad marketers, expert advisors, and inspired philanthropists. His passion for helping clients negotiate complex life decisions is unwavering. Whether you are seeking your next luxury home, “downsizing”, or “moving up”, Steve will help you make sound decisions from start to finish.
In his free time, Steve enjoys traveling to obscure world destinations- he calls them his “Walkabouts,” pushing his sports car to the limits on the track, a lazy round of golf, a good glass of wine with family and friends, and hanging out with his dog, Max.
